Ben believes that in the right conditions un-hooking is the ultimate feeling in riding the waves. In this instructional he shares a few tips for the first timer that wants to give un-hooking a go.

Ben says this technique is great for lighter winds because you can really whip yourself into the wave with some good speed as well as sending the kite in the right direction to go down the line and rip the wave up.

Ben says it's definitely not as challenging as doing it un-hooked, but still just as fun and that you can really use the kite to help recover no matter how far you push the turn.
