BWS has just announced that they will be teaming up with West Oz Kite & SUP in Western Australia to start up the popular Jeep Kite Surfing Schools this month.

Kite surfing champion Ben Wilson, recently partnered up with Jeep Australia to become their Australian Ambassador, and has also started up the Jeep Kite Surfing Schools which enables people nationwide to learn how to kite surf.

Ben explains in this clip how to do an unstrapped backroll on your surfboard.

Getting barrelled on a kite is pretty rare and usually a very quick in and out affair, but it is possible and Ben's favourite type of barrel is grabbing rail on his backhand. Ben breaks down his techniques for getting barrelled on his backhand.

The kitesurfing industry has been through all sorts of ups and downs with different shaped kites and boards. For a while, everyone had a new invention every week.  For kitesurfing kites, there were many different styles and models but really only three categories (and still only three). These include: C-Kites, Bow Kites and Hybrid Kites.

Most people are unaware how each of the categories function due to the large amount of marketing hype and bulls**t that surrounds the products, thus missing the key points of how each performs when out on the water.
