Q: My kite never came with a backpack?

A: The Noise kite comes with a simple compression sac to store your kite when you are not using it. We offer a full backpack version as an upgrade option. We do this to keep the kite as affordable as we can, as we know a lot of people do not use the backpack.

Q: How hard should I pump my kite up?

A: Pump your kite until the leading edge is firm. Flick it with your finger and you should hear a high pitch pinging sound, kind of like a basket ball. If you hear a dull thud it means that your kite does not have enough air…so keep pumping until you hear a high pitch ping.

The best test is to see if your kite can support itself -

Stand your kite on its side and make sure the LE arc can support itself. If the kite bends in half then it is under inflated.

Over inflation will cause seams and materials to stretch be careful not to over inflate….
To see correct inflation techniques go to – setting up your new NOISE kite video

Q: The lines on my bar have stretched or my kite is pulling to one side, what should I do?

A: If your bar feels uneven then you may have one of 2 problems.

1. Check your line lengths – Unroll your lines and fix them to a point. Like your leash wrapped around a tree. Or a string on a post. What you want is all the lines to be at an even point. Grab the bar and pull firmly on the lines and see if the bar is not straight. If your front lines are sagging then simply position the depower tool in the cleat to the position where all lines are even. Make a mark for riding reference. This is the point of best Unhooking ability.

If you have a stearing line that is off by a few cm’s then you can tie a knot in your pigtail. This will shorten about 4cm. We only recommend this if you have seriously stretched out a line. Small differences in stearing lines are rarely felt……
Our lines are pre-stretched in the factory but if you subject the kite to a massive load like a massive wave then it may be possible that one line could get stretched.

2. If your lines are perfectly even and your kite is not flying straight, then you may have stretched a bridle line, again this is rare. It may be wise to check each line side to side, otherwise buy a new bridle set up to solve this issue.
